  1. The first group received distilled water daily for eight weeks
  2. The second group was treated with Costus root extract at a dose (0.4 mg/kg) daily
  3. The third group was treated with 10 mg/kg of Bisphenol A (BPA) (body weight /day) dissolved in 5 ml/kilogram of oil of olive
  4. The fourth group received 10 mg/kg of Bisphenol A (bwt/day) Costus root extract at a dose (0.4 mg/kg) daily for eight weeks was given by gastric gavage daily
