  1. The first group received distilled water daily for eight weeks
  2. The second group was treated with Costus root extract at a dose (0.4 mg/kg) daily
  3. The third group was treated with 10 mg/kg of Bisphenol A (BPA) (body weight /day) dissolved in 5 ml/kilogram of oil of olive
  4. The fourth group received 10 mg/kg of Bisphenol A (bwt/day) Costus root extract at a dose (0.4 mg/kg) daily for eight weeks was given by gastric gavage daily
  5. (+ staining) Faint staining of immunohistochemical staining for P53 was observed with the control and second groups
  6. (+ staining) Moderate reduction of expression of immunohistochemical staining for P53 was observed with the fourth group compared to the third group
  7. (+++++ staining) Strong positive of immunohistochemical staining for P53 in comparison with the control and second groups
