Significant difference was assessed using one-way analysis of variance (ns: p-value is not significant; > 0.05). The mean age was 40 ± 12 and 37 ± 6 years in normal-weight individuals (NWT) and 40 ± 10 and 40 ± 7 years in overweight/obese (O/O) individuals from COVID-19 patients and HC, respectively. The difference between the means was not significant (p = 0.423)
