Phylogenetic tree of Oestridae constructed by maximum likelihood (ML) analysis using Kimura 2-parameter model. The analysis inferred from the sequences of 28S rRNA gene describing the relationships of Cephalopina titillator against homologous sequences retrieved from the GenBank. This analysis involved 11 nucleotide sequences. All positions with less than 95% site coverage were eliminated, i.e., fewer than 5% alignment gaps, missing data, and ambiguous bases were allowed at any position (partial deletion option). Subfamily Hypodermatinae is not represented in this tree due to the lack of representing sequence record. Drosophila funebris is used as an outgroup to the tree
