Effects of GME, Garcinol and HCA on the mRNA expression levels of a inos and b cox-2 in LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 cells. Cells were pretreated with GME (115 µg/ml and 230 µg/ml); Garcinol (6 µM and 12 µM); HCA (17.5 µg/ml and 35 µg/ml) before LPS (1 μg/ml) stimulation followed by 24 h incubation. Total RNA was extracted and analyzed by real-time qPCR. Levels of inos and cox-2 transcripts in the experimental groups are expressed as fold-changes relative to control group after being normalized against gapdh standard. The data represented are the mean ± SEM. *p < 0.05, **p < 0.01, ***p < 0.001 vs. the control group; #p < 0.05, ##p < 0.01, ###p < 0.001 vs. the LPS group
